Vehicle Chassis Rolls Testing Lab Driver/Mechanic This is a temporary position. 2nd Shift – 3:30pm – 11:30pm Preparing vehicles for Chassis Rolls testing, including refueling/charging with selected fuels, purging vehicle evaporative canisters, facilitating SHED testing, movement (transport via PIV) of vehicles to/from soak areas, and in/out of dynamometer cell, installing vehicle in cell, connecting all requested instrumentation and hardware necessary to commence testing. Once test(s) sequence(s) is/are initiated, drive vehicles on designated test cycles with valid "driver metrics" (i.e. ERR, CSI pedal metrics) necessary to provide accurate emission samples. The Electrician is responsible for preventative maintenance, layout, installation, and repair of all electricalequipment and power and lighting systems in the facility including motors, generators, transformer controls and mechanisms, timing devices, switches, cable and conduits. This includes connections to electronic equipment or the installation and repair of any other electrical equipment. The Electrician will apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental oroperational electrical machinery and electrical control equipment and circuitry. The Electrician will alsoassemble and test motor-controlled devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, and other electrical equipment and components; perform preventative and corrective maintenance and diagnose causes of electrical malfunction or failure of operational equipment. The Diesel and CNG Tractor Mechanic is responsible for repairing, maintaining and troubleshooting for all fleet equipment including tractor Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and diesel engines (fuel systems and electrical systems), 53' trailers, pneumatic brakes systems, engine diagnostics, and CNG/diesel engine drive trains. The Tractor / Trailer Mechanic will perform preventative maintenance inspections and comply with DOT regulations. Inspect and repair tractor and trailer under carriage components to include shocks, wheel bearings, air suspension components and front-end assemblies. Diagnose and repair CNG and diesel engine failures to include fuel systems, electrical systems, DEF systems and mechanical system malfunctions.

The Maintenance Unit Leader leads and directs skilled trades employees to meet the objectives of the maintenance department in a fast paced, high volume, unionized, manufacturing environment. The selected candidate will coordinate safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale initiatives. Drive throughput improvements and coordinate professional maintenance and breakdown maintenance activities. Provide coaching and mentoring to team members (both hourly and supervisory) regarding World Class Manufacturing techniques for problem solving and corrective action implementation. Die Makers are highly skilled employees responsible for producing dies, and specialized parts and devices used on manufacturing machines in an automotive manufacturing plant. The work requires practical skill and knowledge as a Die Maker to analyze specifications, lay out metal stock, set up and operate machine tools, and fit and assemble parts to make and repair dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges and hand tools.
