The Maintenance Supervisor - Press is responsible for addressing throughput, run to run, and downtime related issues with equipment in a production environment. Coordinate activities according to lean manufacturing standards (particularly the autonomous and professional maintenance activities) while impacting the overall equipment effectiveness, through a systematic approach of planning and executing key maintenance enablers and coordinating all activities utilizing the TMS system.
Job duties may include but are not limited to:
- Supervising maintenance staff on repair of electrical and/or mechanical stamping equipment
- Troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLC
- Diagnosing and resolving issues with DC motors and drives, variable frequency drives
- Diagnosing and resolving issues with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Troubleshooting press cushion systems
- Employing ladder logic and print reading
