Mantech seeks a motivated and career-oriented Windows Systems Administrator to join our team in Laurel, MD.You will be part of a dedicated team delivering enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce that supports a wide range of national defense missions. This role directly supports the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) organizationthe foundation of all Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) for MPO.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systemsProvide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2/3 (Escalation) support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolutionIdentify and resolve performance and capacity issues in Windows systems, and support hardware-related problem resolution and dispatchingDeliver detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated ticketsInstall operating system software, troubleshoot system issues, maintain system integrity, configure network components, and implement OS enhancements to improve reliability and performanceMust be willing to work a flexible schedule between 6:00am-6:00pm and may be assigned to an evening patching scheduleMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. 5 additional years of System Administrator experience might be substituted for a bachelor’s degree14+ years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityExperience with configuring, maintaining and modernizing a Windows OS environmentExperience with patching Windows OS environments to meet security compliance requirementsIAT II certification (DoD 8140 required within 60 days of starting employment.
