ManTech seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Linux Systems Administrator to join our team in Hanover, MD.This role supports a global workforce executing mission-critical operations in defense of our Nation. As part of the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) organization, you will help manage core infrastructure and support the delivery of Enterprise Information Technology (EIT), the foundational platform for all MPO users. You will work closely with customers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and vendors within Data Center & Compute Services to ensure system functionality, security, and availability.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Provide Systems Administration support for CNOS labs in a Help Desk capacity and collaborate with lab teams across locationsMaintain and manage Linux and Windows user accounts, profiles, and ticket queues, ensuring prompt support for developer requestsAssist other lab managers within the domain architecture and perform racking, stacking, loading, and configuration of workstations and serversBuild, configure, and maintain secure server and system environments, including system analysis, design, architecture, and hardware/network managementPerform installation, refresh, and modernization of servers and system componentsboth remotely and on-siteDocument system configurations including computers, networking devices, and peripheral hardwareMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a technical disciplineFifteen (15) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityPreferred Qualifications:Experience deploying, upgrading, or maintaining servers and systemsKnowledge of Linux operating systems supporting Tacacs+ and SyslogExperience with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and LDAP networking conceptsHands-on experience with cabling, racking, and stacking IT equipmentFamiliarity with the Jira ticketing systemUnderstanding of core networking componentsClearance Requirements:Must have a current/active TS/SCI with PolygraphPhysical Requirements:Bending, carrying, kneeling, lifting, light work up to 20 lbs., reaching, repetitive motions, sedentary work, walking, working with dataAbility to handle stress and work under pressureAbility to use MS Office and a PCStrong analytical or critical thinking, interpersonal skills, leadership, listening, multi-tasking, oral/written communication, and organizational skills
