We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mail Room Assistant to support daily operations at a reputable and long-standing organization. This role plays a vital part in ensuring efficient mail and supply distribution, office support, and facilities maintenance.
Key Responsibilities: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and overnight packages Deliver office supplies to designated supply rooms Verify deliveries against packing slips and invoices Maintain and operate postage meters and mailing equipment Distribute cases of copy paper to appropriate locations Stock office refrigerators and maintain coffee machines Proxy-approve departmental invoices or obtain manager approval as needed Assist with department moves and office space reconfigurations Help with conference room setup and teardown for meetings Safely destroy confidential documents using a shredding machine Support basic facility maintenance and upkeep of company pool vehicles Provide backup coverage for the front reception desk as needed Perform additional related duties as assigned
