The facility processes the landfill gas by removing the majority of the non-methane components including CO2, Nitrogen, water, sulfur and volatile and non-volatile organic compounds to attain pipeline quality gas.The support will range from plant optimization to small upgrade projects. This role will work closely with Operations and Maintenance personnel at the plant in support of achieving plant runtime and production KPI's. They will also work closely with in-house Engineering teams and 3rd party Engineering Contractors to develop workpack deliverables for plant modifications. A key accountability will be maintaining and updating Process Safety Information for the plant.The successful candidate must be able to report to the plant in Throop, PA at least 3 days per week. Supervisor other technicians on job duties and assignments.RELATIONSHIPSInternal: All Fleet Technicians, Drivers, Coordinators and ManagerExternal: Dealer Service ManagersWORK ENVIRONMENTOnsite: The associate in this role is expected to perform assigned responsibilities inside a US Foods maintenance facility.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must have 5 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic.Diagnostic and troubleshooting ability using fleet maintenance software.Successfully demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills.Must furnish own personal hand tools.Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA regulations pertaining to the shop and fleet.Ability to read and understand technical and service manuals.Excellent communication skills; able to communicate with co-workers and drivers with demonstrated teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.Computer and software experience.EDUCATIONHigh school diploma or equivalent required.CERTIFICATIONS/TRAININGBrake certificationLICENSESMust possess a valid driver's license.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSJPRO, Cummings, and Detroit software experienceWelding abilityKnowledge of electrical schematicsBasic Microsoft Excel and Word skills.Leadership experience or qualificationsValid Class A or B CDL license and DOT Medical certificationEPA 608 or 609 (Type 2 or Universal) certificationCompensation depends on relevant experience, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
