Title: Inventory Control Coordinator
Location: Liverpool, NY
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Position Classification: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
Objective: The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records by ensuring all product movement is properly received, recorded, stored, and reconciled. This role supports efficient warehouse operations and plays a key part in month-end inventory processes and compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Input all inventory transactions including receipts, breakage, out-of-code, and shrinkageVerify and reconcile Bills of LadingReview daily adjustment sheets and investigate discrepanciesPerform daily and monthly physical inventory counts of products and palletsExecute RedAlerts and resolve variancesShip and track empty cooperage and pallets in a timely mannerRecord, bill, and maintain freight claimsLead month-end physical inventory counts and reconciliationsManage inventory of pallets, grocery pallet returns, and cooperageMaintain product file integrity including code date formatting and expiration detailsCoordinate appointments for old beer destructionOversee breakage and repacking of productMaintain accurate warehouse location mapping for all productsServe as a backup for warehouse administrative roles as neededPerform other duties as assigned
Qualification & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree1-2 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse coordinationAbility to work independently and with minimal supervisionExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and inventory systemsVIP (Vermont Information Processing) experience a plusForklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Compensation Range:
$21.00 - $26.00 per hour

Final compensation is based on experience, credentials, and geographic location.
