What You Will Be Doing:
Troubleshoot and diagnose root causes for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems maintenance including examination of parts for defects.Follow diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s instructions for operation and troubleshooting equipment,Recording repairs and maintenance performed, parts and materials used, requisition new parts and materials as well assist in inventory of replacement parts and supplies for inventory levelsUsing various common hand and power tools, such as drills, wrenches, precision measuring instruments, and electronic testing devices
Skills You Bring:
Commitment to safe work practicesWorking knowledge of three phase motors, programmable controls, circuits, computer interfaces, PLC’s, VFD’s. Familiar with NEC, NFPA 70E and OSHA standardsFull knowledge of three phase 480 volt equipmentAble to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprintsBasic Electronics knowledge. Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manualsPlan, assemble, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical fixtures and wiringMust have working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshootingKnowledge of maintenance hand toolsAble to use tools including hand tools, powered tools, diagnostic tools and computer programsTest and repair water distribution, and compressed air systemsAble to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusionsAble to operate a forklift truckBasic computer and e-mail skills
