MANTECH seeks a motivated and enthusiastic Systems Test Engineer to support our current Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) contract out of Quantico, VA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and/or lead Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs) such as Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs).
- Generate technical documentation and artifacts such as System Engineering Plans, Configuration Management Plans, and Interface Control Documents.
- Provide Courses of Action and trade-off analysis to inform design decisions considering cost, schedule, and performance.
- Participate in Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and evaluate engineering artifacts throughout the acquisition life cycle.
- Provide configuration management support for the development, engineering, testing, integration, fielding, and sustainment of weapon systems.
- Establish and maintain the hardware and software configuration baseline, which is a set of approved and controlled versions of project or system components serving as the reference point for further development, testing, and deployment.
- Support CCB activities and the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process.
- Travel up to 50 percent of the time
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related systems engineering or configuration management experience (additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree).
- Experience in using Configuration Management software
- Experience with systems integration and testing to verify required performance.
- Experience with navigating and applying DoDI 5000.80 (DoD System Acquisition Life Cycle)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using CMPro software.
- Experience supporting USMC Programs
Clearance Requirement: Must have an Active DoD TS/ SCI
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
