Job Summary
- Maintains the hospital general ledger by recording monthly journal entries and obtaining the necessary information for other special adjustments.
- Reconciles general ledger accounts as assigned on a monthly basis.
- Maintain the hospital fixed assets.
- Perform other accounting duties.
- Perform Accounts payable/Payroll-related duties.
- Assist in month-end reporting and review of statistical reports.
- Assist with annual audit and cost report.
- Perform other duties as assigned by department management.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
Experience
- Three years of hospital accounting or equivalent.
