ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Application Integration Engineer to join our team in Alexandria, VA. This is a hybrid position with three days onsite and two days telework weekly.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and configure data integrations with remote systems using REST calls, data feeds, and other mechanisms to ensure scalable and secure data storage and management
  • Utilize DevOps tools and techniques to build integrations with external systems, including social media platforms, collaboration systems, and web scraping tools
  • Stay current with advancements in machine learning and collaborate with software architects, data scientists and ML engineers to integrate machine learning models and other analytical tools into production software systems
  • Stay current with advancements in software engineering to develop, implement, maintain and optimize software solutions for case management and records management applications, focusing on configuring/customizing COTS and handling large numbers of integrations with external systems and efficient processing of large-scale data feeds
  • Apply design thinking or other solution-based methods to solve problems consisting of various qualitative activities that support the generation of insightful, human-centered and impactful design solutions
  • Perform knowledge elicitation from client of business problem details and incorporate that knowledge into algorithms, models, and approaches in client solutions; Enhance the client's data management and analytic capabilities by configuring AWS GovCloud SaaS offerings

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
  • At least seven years of experience in data management, case management, and records management; a master’s degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience
  • Experience in programming and/or scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, C++, or Java
  • Experience with configuring and developing in a major public cloud system such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Experience with DevOps tools and techniques for scalable and secure data storage and management
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns, data structures, and algorithms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience with social media platforms, collaboration systems, and web scraping tools
  • Experience with SharePoint, OneDrive and other repositories
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Prior experience in a government or defense contracting environment

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current and active TS/SCI with CI Poly

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and clients, which may involve delivering presentations ad must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
