Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 3 years.
• 3 months of experience with MEDHOST is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
A minimum of 12 months acute care experience in the United States is required. Unit experience must include 12 continuous months.
Weekends required
IV certification required
Experience required: PIV starts, port access/de-access, NG tubes, chest tube care, foley catheters, wound care, care of the patient with PICC lines, care of the patient with venous access ports.
48hr weekly guarantees will be considered
Blocked scheduling requests will be considered but may not be guaranteed
Scrub color = Any solid color
Primarily adult and geriatric patients
Occasionally a pediatric patient that requires IV fluid, antibiotics, or a little oxygen support.
Primary diagnoses include atrial fib, CHF, COPD, DM, Pneumonia, sepsis, post surgical patients (hip and knee ortho, cholycystectomy, appendectomy, hernia repairs, etc.).
We also care for Observation patients and swing bed patients on our Med/surg unit. Non titrateable IV medications are also given on med/surg.
