Description The Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist, under the direction of the Department Director and Manager is expected to work independently performing a variety of echocardiography procedures for use in the diagnosis of heart disorders. Description The Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist, under the direction of the Department Director and Manager is expected to work independently performing a variety of echocardiography procedures for use in the diagnosis of heart disorders. The Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist will independently perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) on adult, children and neonatal patients and prepare a preliminary echo report for review by the interpreting Physician or LIP.
