Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is required from last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Vermont license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Assignment up to 32 weeks. Women’s and Children’s L&D RN: Float required, every other weekend, and call (2 – 12 hour shifts in a rolling 4 week timeframe). Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.
PALS (or PEARS)
1 year of L&D experience to submit, as well as LDRP experience
RNs must have LDRP experience including independence in a LDRP, including all aspects of care and experience in a community hospital environment that does not have NICU resources on sight. Unit will also take M/S overflow.
Experience as a baby nurse at delivery, initiating/being a part of neonatal resuscitations, assigning APGAR scores, and giving newborn medications post-delivery
IVS to OFFER.
Monday to Sunday.
No block schedules for any reason.
Bi-weekly orientations on Monday.

Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended.
Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April.
Documentation System: Epic, Philips Intellispace Medication System: Pyxis.
Weekend Requirements: Every other.
Call Requirements: Yes, 2 – 12 hour call shifts in a rolling 2 pay period time frame.
Holiday Requirements: Yes.
Patient Population (Diagnoses): Labor, Delivery, Newborn, Postpartum Occasional Med/Surg Overflow, Traige
Age Range: All Special Equipment: (For example: IV Pumps: Type; Invasive Monitoring; Monitors: Type; ECMO; Ventilators: Type; ABG: Type: Electronic Fetal Monitors, Smart Pumps, Mindray cardiac monitor.
