This position is onsite.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist in the creation and modification of Installation Design Plans (IDPs) and other design drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)Participate in site surveys to gather critical data, assess existing infrastructure, and document site conditionsConductwind/load analysisfor antenna and equipment installations on various structures, including towers and buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standardsDevelop and revise structural and mechanical diagrams, ensuring clear and concise representation of system components and their integrationCollaborate with senior engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and contribute to design solutionsReview technical documentation for completeness and accuracy, specifically focusing on structural integrityAssist with data entry and organization of technical information related to structural analysisLearn and apply relevant industry standards, codes (e.g., IBC, ASCE), and best practices for structural designUp to 25% travel can be expectedMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field and 8 years experienceStrong understanding of structural analysis principles, mechanics of materials, and design methodologiesProficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD)Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, safe designsAbility to interpret technical drawings, structural schematics, and engineering specificationsPreferred Qualifications: Experience with structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, RISA-3D) is a significant plusClearance Requirements:Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top SecretPhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
