In addition to your base compensation, this position also offers:·$20,000 sign-on bonus eligibility for full-time, bedside RNs·$4 Shift differential (2ndshift & evenings), $1 shift differential (weekends)·Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, plus flexible-spending and health- savings accounts ·Competitive paid time off and extended illness bank package for full-time employees·Income-protection programs, such as life, accident, critical-injury insurance, short- and long-term disability, and identity theft coverage·Tuition reimbursement, loan assistance, and 401(k) matching ·Employee assistance program including mental, physical, and financial wellness·Professional development and growth opportunitiesDepartment/Unit SummaryHours :Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm ; Friday 8:30am-1:30p2 years Oncology/Chemo experience preferredPrevious Oncology chemo infusion preferred but not requiredPosition Summary:Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.Documents patient care given.Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.Performs the delivery of Chemotherapy and other medications.Coordinates multiple patient treatments in an efficient manner.Provides phlebotomy, intravenous therapy, wound assessment and dressing changes.Interprets lab values, reports to physician and assesses/implements potential treatment charges.Providespatient education about diagnosis and treatment.Performs the delivery of care, in accordance with quality and infection control standards.Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture,condition, and circumstances.Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.Who We Are:People are our passion and purpose. This acute IPR unit offers intense rehabilitation for patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, strokes, surgeries and other chronic conditions. Patients on this unit should be able to tolerate three hours of therapy per day.
