The Flagger is responsible for directing the flow of traffic around construction sites, road maintenance areas, and other work zones. This role involves setting up and taking down traffic control signs, cones, and barricades to ensure the safety of workers and the public. The Flagger uses hand signals, signs, and other traffic control devices to communicate with motorists and guide them safely through or around the work area. The position requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and the capability to stand for extended periods.
Job Duties:
Set up signs, cones, and other traffic control devices around work areas to divert traffic. Effectively manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles. Maintain clear and effective communication with team members using two-way radios. Regularly required to stand and walk and reach with hands and arms for up to 10 hours a day. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items over 50 pounds. Drive company vehicles to transport traffic control equipment to and from job sites. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition. Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving equipment and machinery parts, moving traffic, fumes, and airborne particles. Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate to loud. More Information about this Job: PARAMEDICNOW HIRING A FULL-TIME or PART-TIMEPARAMEDIC FOR AN IMMEDIATE JOB OPPORTUNITY!STARTING WAGE OF $33.00 - $39.44 AN HOUR BASED ON EXPERIENCE!WE OFFER A MANDATORY, PAID BREAK EVERY SHIFT & A ZERO-HOLD POLICY WHEN CLOCKING OUTPLENTY OF OVERTIME AVAILABILITY!We’re hiringParamedicsthat are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and basic, as well as advanced, patient care to our customers.Responsibilities:Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.Utilize your Paramedic skills with advanced protocols on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, ECG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.Drive the ambulance on routine and emergent responses.Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.Other Responsibilities:Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.Minimum Required Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageState Paramedic or NREMT-P certificationState Driver’s LicenseBLS, ACLSDriving record in compliance with company policyPass Physical Ability Test (PAT)Some work experience, preferably in healthcare preferredWhy Choose AMR AMRis one ofGlobal Medical Response’s (GMR) family of solutions.
