Job duties include but are not limited to: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, facility systems, and plant utilities using SAP-generated work orders. Conduct daily inspections of assigned equipment to identify issues that may impact safety, quality, or efficiency. Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, including PLCs, relays, motors, and AC/DC circuits. Support continuous improvement by identifying root causes of recurring issues and recommending long-term solutions. Train operators and other team members on basic maintenance checks and proper equipment care. Maintain accurate maintenance records, including time worked, parts used, and job completion notes in SAP. Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager and outside vendors on major repairs, upgrades, and equipment installations. Submit requisitions for replacement parts and recommend critical spares to minimize downtime. Adhere to all company safety programs, including Lockout Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash, GMP standards, and OSHA regulations. Participate in improvement efforts tied to Sabert’s sustainability, energy reduction, and reliability goals.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or trade school preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a high-speed manufacturing environment. Ability to diagnose and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. This role involves setting up and taking down traffic control signs, cones, and barricades to ensure the safety of workers and the public. The Flagger uses hand signals, signs, and other traffic control devices to communicate with motorists and guide them safely through or around the work area. The position requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and the capability to stand for extended periods.
Job Duties:
Set up signs, cones, and other traffic control devices around work areas to divert traffic. Effectively manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles. Maintain clear and effective communication with team members using two-way radios. Regularly required to stand and walk and reach with hands and arms for up to 10 hours a day. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items over 50 pounds. Drive company vehicles to transport traffic control equipment to and from job sites.
