The employee will complete an orientation program of sufficient duration and content to prepare them for specific duties in the hospital before they administer direct patient care but at least within thirty (30) days of their hire date.Must acquire and maintain ACLS proficiency. Must meet proficiency requirements of the unit including CPR certification, and successful completion of both the medication and unit specific proficiency tests annually. Medical-Surgical Certification is desired. Ability to make decisions and intervenes on a variety of complex problems while rendering patient care.
