Role Summary: Flowserve is looking for a Machinist at our manufacturing facility in Taneytown, MD. The candidate should be proficient in the set-up and operation of manual lathes, with exposure to CNC. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the general manufacturing environment to include, able to work safely, able to machine tolerances +/- .001, precision tool grinding, the use of overhead jib cranes, ergonomics, and inspection equipment. Description Leidos is seeking a Controls Technician to join our growing team, in support of Security Engineering Programs – Center for Information Systems Security. (SEP-CISS) This Controls Technician will support a National Security Sensitive Program, performing work on a variety of HVAC automation projects, primarily at the mechanical level. Daily activities will be directed by the Controls Team Lead and may include: Field Testing & Tuning, HVAC Troubleshooting & Repair, HVAC Preventative Maintenance Actions, Equipment Calibrations, and Automation Programming. This position will work in downtown DC at an undisclosed customer site. While this position will work 6am - 2pm M-F, shift flexibility will be required for sparse weekend & evening work.
