What you will doUnder minimal supervision, the HVAC Senior Controls Technician conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning as well as general servicing of control systems including detailed troubleshooting of systems and properly completes required project and service documentation. Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, onsite customer interface. With a high level of complete technical competence, mentors Control Technicians, Service Technicians and Mechanical Technicians on Building Automation activities.How you will do itProvide controls system repair and/or update recommendations and assist in proposing of recommendations to Johnson Controls customers.Diagnose and repair complex control systems malfunctions requiring extensive knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems and ability to test and write modifications in multiple languages of systems software.Consult with the customer through data gathered and site assessments. Provide field proposals for retrofits, upgrades and or enhancements to existing equipment. Assist sales by providing technical recommendations for sales leads.Manage assigned work to meet professional and efficient execution of time and customer satisfaction.
