Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.
• 22 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience is required from last 3 months.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
All RNs (all specialties) must have NIHSS & EHAC within last 12 months. Certs can be obtained during onboarding.
If candidate resides in one of the restricted counties, they are not eligible for assignment. Restricted Counties-Delta, Franklin, Red River, Hopkins, Bowie, Morris, Titus, Cass, Camp, Rains, Upshur, Marion, Van Zandt, Smith, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, and Panola.
Weekend shifts per contract: Half of scheduled shifts
Skills Required: Med/surg, MS/Tele, Colostomy care, feeding tube management, pre/post hemodialysis management, renal failure, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draw, peripheral line management, phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin, PCA, Spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injury, ortho trauma, total joint replacements, surgical drains, HFNC, nasal cannula, oral suctioning, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, tracheostomy management, wound care.
BLS, ACLS, Must be AHA, RQI, ARC, or American Safety and Health Institute
