This role's responsibilities include solution development for engineering problems and project management of large-scale automation and robotics initiatives driving the Supply Chain transformation as well as leading direct or indirect resources as assigned. Additionally, the responsibilities include business analysis, budgeting support, facility layout, product flow, and change management. Your expertise will be vital in driving the future of retail as we continue to innovate and excel in the market.Key Responsibilities Ideate, develop, manage, and execute multimillion-dollar automation and robotics network improvement projects to drive operational excellence and transformation throughout the entire SC Distribution Network. This includes all aspects of the project management life cycle with support from engineering leadership as needed for larger projects.Utilize continuous improvement methodology; assess key performance indicators; establish project objectives; drive short- and long-term strategic plans to meet critical timelines; track and report on post-project successes and impacts to the business to measure progress in achieving results and creating accountability.Lead internal and external cross-functional project teams.Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across multiple projects.Manage several technology and automation projects at once and while providing technical leadership for larger scale projects.Communicate with and influences key decision-makers and senior leadership within the organization.Benchmark industry studies, partner with key vendors, build business cases for, and recommend new automation and robotics technologies, equipment, and material handling solutions, all to support transformative solutions.Leads ideation and implementation of network-wide automation solutions.Gathers and analyzes data and elements of existing DC network to develop innovative solutions to operational issues and provide recommendations to improve operations.Leads facility layout design and ergonomic studies to increase productivity while maintaining safety.Develop financial cost benefit analyses and financial models to support requirements and designs of project solutions.Work in an ambiguous environment throughout the lifecycle of a project.Acts as mentor and advisor to other engineers and provides training and development to peers as needed.Other tasks as needed.Individual ContributorMinimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Industrial Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in industrial engineering and 3-5 Years of experience in retail distribution with an emphasis on a performance-based culture3-5 Years Experience in facility layout and project/capital justification3-5 Years Experience implementing automation and robotics technologies3-5 Years Experience with a warehouse management system3-5 Years Experience managing a cross-functional project from conception to implementation3-5 Years Proven experience managing multiple and competing priorities3-5 Years Experience in adapting and integrating new technology and automation in a complex supply chain environment3-5 Years Experience in driving new ideas and technology in a complex and dynamic supply chain settingPreferred Skills/Experience Master's Degree Industrial Engineering or related field and 1 year experienceBenefits 401k with up to 4.25% matchDiscounted Employee Stock Purchase Plan (15% discount of strike price)Tuition-Free Education10-week Maternity/Parental Leave10% Associate DiscountFor information about our benefit programs and eligibility, please visit .About Lowe’s Lowe’s Companies, Inc.
