What qualifications you will need:Bachelor’s Degree or other approved education plan requiredBachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferredMaster’s Degree preferredCurrently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.BLSACLS preferred1+ year of experience in healthcare required1+ year of experience in leadership role requiredSt. David’s Women’s Center of Texas, located on the campus ofSt. David's North Austin Medical Center, is designated as a Level IV Maternal Facility by the State of Texas and provides the highest possible comprehensive care for pregnant and postpartum patients with the most complex medical, surgical and/or obstetrical conditions, including those with a high risk of maternal morbidity or mortality. The facility includes a 97-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, including 31 private rooms, 12 small baby rooms and 11 neuro beds; 36 labor, delivery and recovery rooms, including Central Texas’ first low-intervention birthing suites with tubs; 97 postpartum beds; 24 antepartum beds; Cesarean section surgical suites; 24/7 neonatology coverage; obstetrics and gynecology hospitalists; maternal-fetal medicine physicians; lactation consultants; and a midwifery program.
