Job Duties: Provide transportation services for people with disabilities who are unable to use regular public transit. Operating specialized vehicles, such as buses or vans, that are often equipped with ramps. Ensure the safe operation of the vehicle and the safety and comfort of passengers. Picking up and dropping off passengers, and accommodating passengers with mobility devices, medical equipment, and a variety of disabilities. Safely load and unload each passenger. Securing mobility equipment inside the vehicle.

Key Responsibilities: Operating crawler or rubber-tired excavators for various tasks including digging ditches, structures, and mass excavations. Excavating trenches for underground utilities, including sewer and water lines, with depths ranging from 5' to 30'. Utilizing trench boxes and steel plates for shoring to ensure safety and stability during excavations. Following instructions and adhering to safety policies and procedures. Conducting routine pre-operational checks and performing minor maintenance on the equipment. Maintaining clear communication with site management and other crew members. Ensuring the safety of the crew, equipment, and environment. Reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints. Backfilling and compacting soil as needed. Potentially operating other heavy equipment as required.

The Pipe Layer is responsible for laying pipe for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains. Perform any combination of the following tasks: grade trenches or culverts & position pipe.
Duties & Responsibilities: Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers. Cover pipes with earth or other materials. Connect pipe pieces and seal joints, using welding equipment, cement, or glue. Cut pipes to required lengths. Install or repair sanitary or stormwater sewer structures or pipe systems. Install or use instruments such as lasers, grade rods, or transit levels. Grade or level trench bases, using tamping machines or hand tools. Lay out pipe routes, following written instructions or blueprints and coordinating layouts with supervisors. Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing. Dig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching tools.

Job responsibilities include: Continuously monitor the safety of the crew & job site Ensuring crew is working efficiently and safely Monitoring trenching for pipe installation & workman safety Ensuring project is being built per the provided plans and specifications Shoot grade with a transit level Filing daily reports of production and crew hours Installing multiple types of shoring, including trench boxes, trench plates, slide rail systems, ect. Communicating with General Superintendent on daily basis Coordinating with jobsite representatives/inspectors All candidates must meet the minimum requirements to be considered.
