Martin Foods is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance department at their Houston facility. This facility produces various meat products for a multitude of restaurants throughout the region. The ideal candidate is an experienced maintenance expert, who can create a highly functioning department with a well-organized parts department, a well-organized and documented PM System, a thorough analysis of our equipment and its capabilities and how to optimize throughput/output as well as capture the highest ROI with additional investment in equipment.

Primary Job Duties: Supervise the maintenance of plant equipment and manage preventative maintenance on production equipment and document as required. Hire, train, monitor, discipline, evaluate and develop employees. Assist subordinates with diagnosing and remedying difficult problems. Enforcing organizational policies and employee rules of conduct. Monitor and regulate the operation of departmental areas and investigate solutions to complex problems affecting functional areas of responsibility. As needed, source outside vendors; establish project scope. Develop and monitor formal control programs to track and regulate repair costs and spare parts inventories. The duties of an aircraft refueler will consist of servicing aircraft and other equipment with aviation and automotive fuels with the use of tanker trucks, hydrant carts or tow carts. Aircraft refulers are required to position the fueling equipment next to the aircraft and service it with fuel following all Airline and Company policy and safety regulations at all times. Other duties related to the job are completing required paperwork such fuel service records, tanker sheets, truck sheets and meter tickets and the sumping of overnight aircraft as well as performing normal shop housekeeping duties.
