The Drafter will be responsible for coordinating onsite work with the sales support team, engineering team, designers, purchasing/requisitions and special project team personnel, as well as working alongside production management staff. The successful Drafter will ensure that projects are completed safely and accurately, and in a timely manner to meet customer and shipping goals.

Job Duties: Manage the project work plan process to ensure accurate and timely completion of production goals Perform Engineering calculations involved with design, drafting or product; and all engineering changes Coordinate with customer specification, needs to ensure all sales and resulting work orders are in compliance with those requirements Strict compliance and enforcement of all ISO, QA, contractual, and client requirements Read and understand technical drawings, schematics Create drawings for customers, Sales Department, Engineering or any other as required. Job Duties: Operate trucks and equipment including spray equipment, tractors, chainsaws, 4-wheel drive extreme utility vehicles (XUV) and weed trimmers. Mix herbicide(s) in accordance with manufacturer and District’s formulas and instructions and dispense from truck, tractor, XUV or from backpack. Clean and repair all spray equipment and properly store herbicides and supplies. Cut weeds, grass, and brush in, along and around channels, drainage elements and right-of ways using equipment designated for that purpose. Dislodge and remove drifts and debris (trees, limbs, brush, vines, trash and refuse) from channel berms, slopes and bottoms for proper disposal. Drive trash truck to and from job sites, dump sites or landfills. Check and maintain all equipment fluids, perform daily inspection(s) and fuel and wash equipment, as needed. Report necessary replacement or repair of defective equipment to supervisor. May perform other duties that can be added or changed as the course and scope of the job directs.

WSI processes several species of seafood including Pollock, Crab, Pacific Cod, Halibut and Sablefish. Production employees process raw product that is delivered from fishing vessels to sell to customers. Processors can be assigned to various positions within the production department including, but not limited to: butchering, sorting, filleting, and case-up. Processors are also required to participate in plant clean-up, and other duties as assigned.
This position requires the candidate have the ability to perform the physical requirements including; standing in place for long periods of time; repetitive motions using hands, arms, legs, and back; regularly lift and move 50 lbs; frequent rotations and twisting at the waist; frequent climbing and descending of stairs; working long hours in cold/wet environments (12+ hours per day, 7 days a week); and prompt and regular attendance. Overtime is available.
WSI has a zero tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. You will be charged $20 per day for room and board. (This Could Change before the start of the season) Will be deducted from your paycheck.
