Responsibilities: Assist with the observing mechanical devices in operation and listening to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. Dismantling devices to gain access to remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, power tools, and safety lock-out devices. Examining form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
