Job Description:The RoleAs the Data Architect for Brokerage Recordkeeping Technology, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-based data architectures supporting Fidelity’s Brokerage Recordkeeping Applications. Understanding / Experience with the brokerage domain would be a plus.Skills & CompetenciesExpertise in relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL), distributed SQL (CockroachDB, YugabyteDB), NoSQL (Aerospike), in-memory databases, data warehouses (Snowflake) and Kafka streaming.Proven ability to architect high-volume, high-performance transactional systems.Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, EC2, EMR, S3) and hybrid environments.Experience building scalable data solutions (OLTP, ODS, MDM, data warehousing & analytics platforms).Ability to evaluate and recommend emerging cloud data technologies.Hands-on experience in logical and physical data modelingExperience with data movement (ETL, ELT) technologiesStrategic thinker with strong technical leadership and agile delivery experience.Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.Familiarity with legal, risk, compliance, and cybersecurity standards.About the TeamFidelity Brokerage Recordkeeping Technology (BRT) supports retail, workplace, and institutional customers by providing brokerage, clearing and custody services. QualificationsCurrent licensure or certification required by state regulations.Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.
