Daily Thermetrics is seeking Experienced Welders to join our rapidly growing welding and production team. A Welder is responsible for assembling pieces of metal together or repairing damage in metal components using heavy machinery that emits high heat, melting the metal into shape. Duties include reviewing blueprints, cutting metal into the appropriate shape and smoothing molten metal to remove creases. The successful Welder will ensure that projects are completed safely and accurately, and in a timely manner to meet stringent QA, ISO, customer and work order requirements. This is not an entry-level welder position.

Production positions may be assigned to either of the following full-time work schedules: First Shift: Monday – Friday   5:00 am – 1:30 pm Second Shift: Monday – Friday   1:30 pm – 10:00 pm
Job Duties: Design optimal workflow by working with manufacturing engineering and fabrication departments for assigned weld projects Expertly welds small, medium, and large components of various metals and alloys. Read and comprehend technical drawings, blueprints, schematics Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Knowledge of metallurgy Knowledge of various welding techniques, including GTAW TIG, MIG, and oxy-fuel welding Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements Setting up components for welding according to specifications Document welding processes that meet engineering product requirements, quality standards, and safety requirements. Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety and maintains responsibility for all tools and equipment assigned. Demonstrate continued high-caliber performance and improvement to reduce errors. Scrap, waste to improve and reduce labor and material costs. Daily Thermetrics Corp., a fast-paced manufacturing company based in Houston, TX, is looking for motivated, Entry Level - Field Service Technicians to support the installation of our specialized thermometry products at refinery and chemical plant locations.
This hands-on role is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and eager to build a career in industrial field services. The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator with a strong willingness to learn, take direction, and adapt to changing environments. Success in this role also requires a positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to teamwork. Will receive per-diem debit cards, funds will be deposited onto the per-diem card before any assignment.
Job Duties Include: Assist with on-site installation of thermometry systems under the direction of a Daily Thermetrics Field Supervisor Perform tasks using grinding wheels, hand tools, rigging equipment, and electrical wiring Work safely in physically demanding environments, including heights and confined spaces Follow all safety procedures and site-specific guidelines Take on additional duties as assigned to support the team and project success

In this vital role, you will coordinate international shipments, manage forwarding logistics and ensure strict compliance with global trade regulations. Job Duties: Coordinate international shipments and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of materials and components. Manage freight forwarding operations and transportation arrangements aligned with production schedules. Prepare and maintain accurate customs documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), Certificates of Origin (COOs), and commercial invoices. Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, Incoterms, and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes. Track shipments and proactively address delays or disruptions to ensure on-time delivery. Maintain up-to-date logistics and supply chain records in ERP systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics with production and project timelines. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction in the supply chain.

High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field highly-preferred. Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. Solid understanding of customs regulations, international compliance, Incoterms, and HTS codes. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Self-driven proactive initiative to respond to fluid work environments and rapidly changing priorities Strong attention to detail. Team player with effective interpersonal skills. Familiarity with lean logistics or continuous improvement methodologies. Experience using logistics management software and shipment tracking systems. Enthusiastic team player, Creative thinker, focuses on bottom-line results while managing for Total Quality EHS Compliance Bilingual English and any other language, preferred. Physical Requirements: Physically able to walk and maneuver about as needed, on the shop floor, inventory stockroom, and or shipping loading dock. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. Ability to work, maneuver about, or stand in noisy fabrication shop area for extended periods of time, as needed
