DescriptionSummary: Works in collaboration with the Department Head to identify educational needs of staff in the specialty area, to develop programs to meet these needs, and evaluate outcomes. Orients new staff, trains and serves as a mentor for preceptors, assures competency validation of new staff and facilitates annual competency validation updates. Responsibilities: Identifies educational needs of staff in assigned area in order to upgrade and improve the knowledge, skills and performance standards.
