The Regional Director of Therapy Operations serves as a member of the regional team and provides direction and support to hospital clinical and administrative leaders. In addition, the position supports an environment and culture to enable hospitals and region to fulfill its mission, works within regional team to establish clinical and operational goals, conveys the company mission and priorities to clinical leaders and administrative leadership, supports hospital DTOs to accomplish objectives, serves as a member of the therapy leadership board, and communicates and monitors therapy leadership initiatives. QualificationsPOSITION REQUIREMENTSLicense or Certification:- Must be in possession of current state license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology.- If clinician is an SLP, successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competencies (CCC), reequiredMinimum Qualifications:- Master's or Doctor's degree in either professional or management area is preferred.- Minimum of 5 years' experience of rehabilitation experience which includes two years in leadership is required. Minimum of two years' experience as a director within the organization is preferred.Machines, Equipment Used:- Office equipment such as computer/laptop, telephone, copy/fax machine, calculator, scanner, etc.- Microsoft Office software, to include Outlook, Word, and Excel.Physical Requirements:- Visual acuity, speech recognition, speech clarity.- Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30 pounds including medical supplies and equipment and the transferring and repositioning of patients.
