We are seeking a responsible, dedicated, and enthusiastic Camp Warden to oversee the operations and safety of our participant campgrounds. The ideal candidate will ensure that all guests have a safe and enjoyable experience while maintaining the camp rules and regulations. As a Camp Warden, you will be the first point of contact for campers, staff, and management, and you will help create a welcoming, organized, and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities: Safety and Security: Monitor the safety and security of campers and staff, ensuring all regulations are followed. Supervision: Oversee the campgrounds, facilities, and common areas to maintain cleanliness and order. Customer Service: Assist campers with inquiries, provide guidance, and offer exceptional customer experience. Conflict Resolution: Address any disputes, issues, or complaints that arise during camp stays, resolving them in a fair and timely manner. Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies (medical, fire,weather) and follow emergency protocols. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of incidents, and other camp-related documentation. Every camper must be checked in. The warden will guide each camper to their reserved spot. Once confirming the camper is set up within their correct space the warden will give the camper a camping tag and set of general rules. From Friday through Monday you will stay on site during festival time. Warden will be the main contact for issues that may accrue and main contact between campers and management. Make sure that quiet time and lights out are being followed. Will hand out violation tags when needed. Each Monday by 12:00pm the warden will turn in a full report of the week before events.

Qualifications: Skills: Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills. Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly. Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stand, walk, or remain active for extended periods. Certifications: First Aid and CPR certification if willing to obtain. Additional: A passion for outdoors and working with people, as well as a friendly and approachable attitude.

Job Duties: Operate transit vehicles safely and smoothly to transport passengers. D&R operators: According to the schedule of the Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) or printed manifest. Assure compliance to all applicable DOT laws and regulations. Assists in emergency evacuations as assigned and performs other related work as required. Assure cleanliness of vehicles. Follow instructions from Dispatch and supervisory personnel and communicate any problems to dispatch. Complete daily vehicle pre/post trip inspections. Conducts operational vehicle inspections Maintain good customer/employee/supervisor relations. Report for duty promptly in proper uniform and physical condition and be ready to work any route assigned. Provide information to passengers in a helpful, courteous, efficient manner; use proper etiquette to assist passengers with disabilities. Prepare and complete all required logs and reports including reports on traffic accidents and customer incidents. Utilize the communication systems (cell phones, radios and MDT’s) in accordance with BTD policies. Use correct safety procedures to operate lift, secure wheelchairs, scooters and other assistive devices. Immediately notify dispatch of cancellations, no shows, or for directions when having difficulty locating a client. Maintain the standards of BTD, including but not limited to the Drug & Alcohol, ADA, EEO, Title VI, Code of Conduct and safety policies and procedures. Ability to operate in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Requirements: Equivalence to a high school education. Pass DOT Drug Screen Maintain a valid Texas Driver’s License. Maintain DOT Physical. Must be able to speak and read English. Legible handwriting. Must be familiar with State and local traffic laws, ordinances, and regulations involved in the operation of vehicles. All employees will be required to work before, during, or after an Emergency. Job Duties: Answer incoming calls and schedule advance and same day customer trip requests for the entire service area. Route calls to the appropriate party if the call is not for the Call Center. Maintain MDT/cellular communication with vehicle operators concerning customers, i.e. cancellations, no shows, pick-ups, etc. To the maximum extent possible, ensure vehicle operators stay within the DOT guidelines for hours of service. Professionally handle all calls concerning route timing, delays, etc. keeping in mind contractual obligations to various entities. Serve as liaison between vehicle operators and all necessary parties in the event of a vehicle mechanical breakdown or a vehicle incident of any type. Maintain customer/location records daily, and update as needed, verify pick-up and drop off addresses during each scheduling call. Ensure and maintain ADA compliance Be up to date with all BTD Medicaid contract obligations and requirements. Serve as liaison between vehicle operators and emergency personnel in the event of an accident. Check the appropriate website, keep trips updated, and operators/supervisors informed of any changes. Have a pleasant phone manner with a professional manner and properly and calmly respond to problem callers. Maintain the standards of BTD, including but not limited to the Drug & Alcohol and safety policies and procedures. Become familiar and stay up to date with BTD's program policies and procedures. Ability to operate in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Become familiar and stay up to date with BTD’s service area. Maintain all records of vehicle changes. Be familiar with all ADA compliance in regards to scheduling, fares, and other regulations. Maintain communications with operators/supervisors and fix/update geocoding or directional errors as reported. Make sure that each client is provided with the correct information regarding BTD’s services: fare information, trip booking information and send information request to Call Center Supervisor when client  requests additional information (such as a Rider’s Guide). Check and enter every new client and location address and double check with public maps for accuracy

Qualifications: Applicant must be computer literate, able to answer multi-line phones and communicate efficiently with customers and coworkers. Must be pleasant, professional, have excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills. Must be able to pass DOT drug screen.

The Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for promoting a positive image of BTD and educating the public about the purpose and services provided. 

Responsible for BTD’s mobile app and social media sites, current and new. Promote BTD in a positive manner on all social media sites. Monitor and maintain these sites on a daily basis. Work with the Deputy CEO/General Manager to ensure BTD’s social media and marketing objectives are met via website, social media platforms, print media, etc. Develop and implement marketing activities that will promote the positive image for BTD as well as public transportation. Create and publish a quarterly BTD newsletter, public notices, news blasts, agency publications, etc. Coordinate advertising and legal notices with various vendors. Create transit related documents and forms including maps, brochures, newspaper ads, etc. and coordinate with various print shops. Assist other departmental efforts to develop materials communicating the implementation of transit service programs and modifications. Coordinate with public agency staff, private consultants, stakeholder outreach teams and professionals in other disciplines for successful project completion. Assist with activities related to transit service planning and scheduling for urban fixed-route and demand/response transit service. Provide administrative support and compliance of federal/state funded grant programs. Provide staff support and coordinate various projects with other departments. Assist Vice President for Marketing and Communications with special projects as needed. Attend local meetings such as city council, commissioner’s court, and other local agency meetings as requested by the President/CEO and Deputy CEO/General Manager. Attend community events, resource fairs and staff the company booth to promote BTD. Analyze potential new products/media to enhance the marketing/communications for BTD. Provide assistance to the Deputy CEO/General Manager regarding communications with the Board of Directors and other duties as requested. Develop and implement marketing activities that will increase ridership. Maintain professional customer/employee/supervisor relations. Be familiar and up to date with all services provided by BTD and our affiliates. Be familiar and up to date with BTD’s program policies and procedures. Maintain the standards of BTD, including but not limited to the Drug & Alcohol, ADA, EEO, Title VI and safety policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of information.
