Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required from the last 4 years.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Weekend Requirement: Depends on coverage–usually require every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Depends on coverage
Will be floated between 2 critical care and stepdown units
Beds 24 in ICU, 26 in PCU
Ratios 2:1 (at times 3:1 depending on acuity), 4:1 on PCU
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Cardiac patients post CABG or PCI, sepsis, DKA, respiratory failure
Are RNs required to titrate drips yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips Levophed, amiodarone, heparin, precedex, propofol, Cardene, nitro, Neosynephrine, dopamine, etc.
Annual Skills Checklistis required for submission and can’t expire during the expected contract dates.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
