Collaborate with the special education team to develop effective IEPs and IFSPs, aligning interventions with student needs and resources.Consultation & Instruction: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and professional staff. Create and prescribe home activity programs, coach parents to support motor skill development, and serve as a district-wide physical therapy resource by providing training, consultation, and hands-on support. Collaborate with medical staff and assist school personnel with physical therapy services, while mentoring and ensuring compliance with best practices.Data Collection & Documentation: Complete annual and triennial reviews, ensure continued support and growth, and stay current with scope of practice, coding/billing practices, and compliant documentation. Complete all necessary documentation in accordance with administrative policies, state, and federal laws.Time Off Management for Full-Time School Employees: Employees are encouraged to schedule their time off during school breaks.
