General NotesThe Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Dell Medical School is seeking a Senior Clinical Therapist, LCSW-S. Provides feedback and recommendations regarding documentation, as needed.Serves as a clinical lead and works closely with the social workers on staff to provide mentorship, support, and consultation as needed. Provides guidance, direction, debriefing, clinical staffing, and support to staff, including care coordinators. May help with coverage, staffing, and workflow optimization.Demonstrates a deepened knowledge and expertise in treating patients with co-occurring physical and mental health conditions along with addressing patient’s psychosocial factors. Applies clinical experience, condition specific trainings, and certifications to contribute to patients’ improved healthcare outcomes.Participates in departmental meetings, continuing education opportunities, academic and research opportunities to optimize patient best practice and interdepartmental collaboration. Attends appropriate training workshops, interdisciplinary meetings and client staffing as required.Performs all other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsLicensed as an LCSW-S, or equivalent practiced clinician in Texas. Three years of post-degree clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and family systems.
