The Utility Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the District's private utility coordination including utility conflict identification, relocation, and necessary pay-out items. This position will also assist and work closely with the District's project managers and utility sub- consultants in tracking private utility projects.
Job Duties: Oversee the review of design plans and the utility conflict table for accuracy. Issues utility notifications and coordinates office/field meetings with team members, external utility representatives, and consultants when needed. Process all purchase order requests including follow-up and distribution. Create and distribute all department correspondence including letters, memos, requests for invoices, etc. Coordinate agenda items for Commissioners' Court, including after court action items. Maintain, track and resolve issues with utility relocation schedules to ensure completion of tasks by agreed-upon dates. Provide bi-monthly status update reports and leads the utility coordination & management team status update briefings. Oversee contractor’s workload, assist in prioritizing tasks to ensure deadlines are met. Lead and participate in department initiatives and process improvements. Research letter files, design reports, aerial photos, record drawings and other resources to support plan review efforts. Coordinate with other District and County departments, including Harris County Permits Office, in support of regulations and permitting activity for government and private sector construction development plans. Perform field visits as necessary to confirm compliance with the District’s design criteria and standards. Attend initial planning meetings with private sector engineers, developers, and landowners to explain the District’s policies and criteria. Ensure proposed developments comply with the District’s watershed master drainage plans. Advise management of problems and prepare recommendations for solutions using best practices. Experienced Seafood Processors needed for our shore-based production plants located in Dutch Harbor, Alaska For Westward Seafoods and The Northern Victor. You will need to apply and attend a Virtual Interview.

WSI processes several species of seafood including Pollock, Crab, Pacific Cod, Halibut and Sablefish. Production employees process raw product that is delivered from fishing vessels to sell to customers. Processors can be assigned to various positions within the production department including, but not limited to: butchering, sorting, filleting, and case-up. Processors are also required to participate in plant clean-up, and other duties as assigned.
This position requires the candidate have the ability to perform the physical requirements including; standing in place for long periods of time; repetitive motions using hands, arms, legs, and back; regularly lift and move 50 lbs; frequent rotations and twisting at the waist; frequent climbing and descending of stairs; working long hours in cold/wet environments (12+ hours per day, 7 days a week); and prompt and regular attendance. Overtime is available.
WSI has a zero tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. You will be charged $20 per day for room and board. (This Could Change before the start of the season) Will be deducted from your paycheck.
