We want you to apply now!The RN Chest Pain Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the Chest Pain program as well as achieving and maintaining Chest Pain Center Certification. Responsibilities include administration of the program under the guidance of the Medical Director, Joint Commission requirements, CMS Core Measure standards and ACC clinical practice guidelines for chest pain.In collaboration with the Vice President of Quality, formulates a comprehensive program for continuous education, monitoring and assessment of patients who have had Chest Pain/Acute Myocardial Infarctions or are at risk for Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS). Coordinates regulatory survey, in particular, the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care survey. Assists with the preparation of summarized reports of compliance review activities to the Board of Trustees, Hospital Administration, the Medical staff and appropriate committees on a regular basis. Serves as the subject matter expert in care of the Chest Pain/ Myocardial Infarction/ACS patient and as a resource person for accomplishment of compliance activities. Assists with the development of operational standards relevant to compliance improvement with dissemination of these standards to Department Directors as appropriate.
