Maxim Healthcare Services is looking for a RN Clinical Operations Specialist to join our team in Knoxville, TN and offering a $2,500 sign on bonus.The Clinical Operations Specialist is responsible for the agreed-upon clinical activities that help facilitate and improve the day-to-day clinical operations within an office. The position will be multifunctional that focuses on overall clinical and operational coordination and creating efficiencies with standardization.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Participates in new hire clinical reviewsFacilitates clinical orientation and competency evaluation for new hiresFacilitates annual competency evaluation and clinical education on new initiativesFacilitates Novice Nurse Program, Skills Advancement Program, and clinical rotation of nursing studentsIn consultation with office leadership (clinical and operations) monitors progress of plans of correction (CPOC, State survey and regulatory agency action plans). Also, identifies trends and areas for improvement and will work with office leadership to implement corrective actionsFacilitates and monitors quality improvement activities (including documentation review) and action plans, including data integrity, progress to goals and development of new quality improvement activitiesIn consultation with office leadership (clinical and operations) assist in compliance, legal and employee relations concerns, reports and issuesIn consultation with office leadership (clinical and operations) assist in grievance concerns, reports and issuesIn consultation with office leadership (clinical and operations) assist in incident report management , trending and analyticsInitiates creative work flow process improvementParticipates in office based meetings including staff meetings, quality meetings and red zonesOn a quarterly basis completes home visits, as applicableMay participate in on-callMay serve in the capacity of office administrator, appointed by and reporting to the Governing Body, and responsible for all day-to-day operations of the office. Those duties include ensuring that a clinical manager and operations manager is available during all operating hours; and ensuring that the office employs qualified personnel.
