Utilizes all company training guides, manuals, checklists and processes to ensure compliance with company policies, practices, safety and DOT regulations. Performs preferred work method observations and provides verbal and written feedback on driver trainees' performance including suggested development actions. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.Position Responsibilities:Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills. Utilizes all systems and tools effectively, i.e. computer, software systems. Exceptionally strong knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations (i.e., hours of service, pre-trip/post-trip, etc) and company safety policies and practices. Ensures all policies are followed. Delivers hands-on training that allows for maximum transfer of knowledge while ensuring customer needs, service times, labor and transportation costs are met and within guidelines. Provides ongoing and timely feedback to assigned driver trainees and supervisory staff. Feedback includes positive reinforcement and constructive corrective actions. Understands and exhibits strong customer service skills. Works with new driver hires and experienced drivers in classroom and/or field settings to prepare them for a successful professional driver career. May supplement PFG Driver Training Manual with local programs specific to the location, products and reports used in that market. • Performs all route delivery duties per company guidelines and safety regulations including pre/post trip, inspection of load and freight, adherence to delivery windows, ensures accuracy of customer delivery, utilizes equipment as prescribed, collects cash/check if required, completes returns and driver-check in process and performs necessary housekeeping to ensure cleanliness of tractor and trailer. Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualification:Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent ExperienceRequired Experience: 1 - 3 Years Hands on training environment: At least 2 years of route Driving experience overall Route delivery driver experience specifically in foodservice distribution industry with in-depth knowledge of DOT regulations. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.What you will do in this role:Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record. - Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.What qualifications you will need:Registered NurseAssociate Degree1 Year of RN experience requiredTriStar Horizon Medical Center is an accredited, 150+ bed regional medical center.
