The Material Handler focuses on loading and unloading trucks, rails, and barges in a safe efficient manner. Material Handlers are responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment and basic maintenance and troubleshooting. This role requires a 12 hour rotating shift schedule working days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Main accountabilitiesLoad and unload barges, trucks, and/or rail cars.Safely perform Deckhand duties on Barges.Operate corn-unloading systems at Silo’s, includes corn sample analysis and documentation. The nursing visits are conducted weekly and typically last 1-2 hours per visit.
