Responsible for resource utilization (supplies and equipment) in department.Responsible for training of new employees or co-workers on new equipment/procedures as applicable. Assists in student clinical rotation programs.Researches, suggests, evaluates, and implements new tests and updates current tests. Attends educational training for new skills, technology or knowledge applicable to the laboratory and throughout the clinic to maintain quality testing and infrastructure flow.Actively participates in quality assurance program. Recommends corrective action for problems identified. Reviews policies and reads procedures as scheduled.
