Description:RESPONSIBLE FOR: Cardiovascular Technology Clinical Coordinator with a strong background in invasive cardiovascular, echocardiography or vascular technology, teaching experience, effective management skills, and a commitment to maintaining high education standards. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for correlating and coordinating clinical education with didactic education and evaluating its effectiveness. Participating in didactic and/or clinical instruction to produce highly qualified, technically oriented radiographers who are eligible to sit for the CCI and/or ARDMS national registry. Supporting the Program Director to ensure effective program operations. Participating in the accreditation and assessment processes. Maintaining current knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development. Maintains current knowledge of program policies, procedures, and student progress. Qualifications:MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Baccalaureate Degree Science related field required.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Five (5) years experience required. Experience should include three (3) years in cardio or vascular instruction and educational experience from an accredited Cardiovascular program. Qualifications: A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible careEducation: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse Experience: 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred) Required: Reliable transportation.
