We provide cardiac catheterization with stents and shockwave, CSI, Rota bladder, Laser, Impalla and balloon pump procedures, TEE, ablations and Cardioversions. We have same day discharge procedures that the patients will recover for 4 hours and if they meet discharge criteria, may go home. Our schedule is published one month at a time. Staff for the cardiac catheterization lab work 4 - (10-hour) shifts, on call time daily, for weekends or holidays also. On call is 2-3 days per week and every 3rd weekend, this may vary depending on vacations, etc. Conemaugh Hospital has chest pain accreditation status; therefore, we have STEMI call 24/7, 7 days per week. The unit provides comprehensive mental health care to individuals between the ages of 18-59. Individuals over the age of 59 are evaluated for admission on an individual basis. It includes trauma surgeries, vascular surgeries, bariatric surgeries, and providing critical care for acute injuries. Additionally, the department maintains a general medicine practice, catering to a broad range of medical needs. The unit is equipped with 20 beds, allowing for attentive patient care. The medical staff is highly qualified, practicing to the full extent of their license, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of medical treatment available.
