This role involves collaboration with students, families, school staff, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, high-quality, and compliant care within the educational setting.Pay Range: 42/hr - 48/hrWhy Join Maxim Competitive Pay & Weekly PaychecksHealth, Dental, Vision, HSA and Life InsurancePaid Time Off401(k) Savings PlanMaxcares Awards ProgramKey Responsibilities:Provide direct nursing care to students, including chronic condition management (e.g., diabetes, asthma, seizure disorders).Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and school policy.Conduct health assessments, screenings, and evaluations.Develop and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and Emergency Care Plans (ECPs).Participate in IEP/504 meetings as the healthcare representative.Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state, federal, and district guidelines.Serve as a liaison between the school, family, healthcare providers, and community agencies.Promote health education and wellness among students and staff.Respond to health-related emergencies and provide first aid/triage.Ensure compliance with immunization and communicable disease control laws/regulations.Qualifications:Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential (or willingness to obtain, if applicable).Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Minimum two years of experience as a school nurse preferred.Valid CPR certification.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in English.Must meet all federal, state, local, and contract requirements.Technological proficiency, including mobile devices for documentation.Must be at least 18 years of age.
