We have same day discharge procedures that the patients will recover for 4 hours and if they meet discharge criteria, may go home. Our schedule is published one month at a time. Staff for the cardiac catheterization lab work 4 - (10-hour) shifts, on call time daily, for weekends or holidays also. On call is 2-3 days per week and every 3rd weekend, this may vary depending on vacations, etc. Conemaugh Hospital has chest pain accreditation status; therefore, we have STEMI call 24/7, 7 days per week. Description:Registered Nurse (RN), Palliative Care/Med Surg PRN/Hourly NightsJob Type: PRN/Hourly | 12-hour nights shifts Department/Unit SummaryPalliative Care is a combined 41 bed unit consisting of palliative and medical-surgical patients. We offer flexible scheduling which allows our nurses to have input in what they work. Full Time nurses work 3 12-hr shifts; daylight varies with mostly 7a shifts and nightshift works straight 7p's. Teamwork is where we take the most pride.
