What you'll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver: Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition. Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises. Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions. Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises. Serves as a resource to other healthcare professionals including pharmacy students and residents and ensures that patient care meets standards of safety and effectiveness. Oversees the duties of the pharmacy technicians and interns.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESEnsures safety and appropriateness of medication therapy through order verification, dispensing, home medication reconciliation, chart review, patient counseling, lab value monitoring and dose/therapy adjustment as applicable. Documents medication related plans and interventions in electronic medical record.Provides clinical consultation delivering best-practice, evidence-based and complete information to practitioners.
