Participates in broad scope projects and handles complex supplier situations.Approach to job:Collaborate with Suppliers and other Honda Business Units to achieve supplier stabilityMinimize supplier touchpoints thru optimizing activity.Clearly summarize each supplier situation so issue, impact, root cause and CM are clearly communicatedKey Accountabilities:Initiate/support situation appraisal and analysis of a supplier crisis on a specific part or assembly process (Tooling/Equipment Spec/Part Drawing Spec or Evaluation/OEE/Volume Assessment/SAP development, etc.)Coordinate and support implementation of immediate corrective action plan (short term and long term) at critical suppliers.Support communication, interaction and summary reviews with supplier and HDMA Management.
