The first floor has 96 beds and the second floor has 100 beds. Nurse-patient ratios vary depending on the shift and the population you will be serving. We care for dementia residents, long term care and a rehab residents. With 196 beds, we accept but not limited to patient specialties, such as general rehab, neuro rehab, cardiac, respiratory and cancer. About the unitThis is Neuro Surgery focused Medical Surgical floor that was established in 3/2018. Our patients include the post-operative surgical patients related to Spine and Ortho Spine, C- Spine, Lumbar and Thoracic Spine surgeries, as well as patients staying for Extended recovery after general out-patient surgical procedures. The Medical patient population includes, Mental Status changes, Seizures, GI bleed, Pneumonia. Stroke, Polydrug Abuse, ETOH Abuse on CIWA pathways, Psychiatric patients, Palliative Care, hospice, Multiple Sclerosis, Isolation patients and patients with other infections and Complex family issues.
