A caregiver in this position works weekend days from 6:00AM - 6:30PM. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures. Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay. Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS. Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam. Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. Maintain documentation. Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator. Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing.
